Mary Turner majored in HVAC at the University of Deez and minored in violin repair before taking an apprenticeship at an apron production plant in Northern Idaho.

Her first paying job after college was as a sherpa on the Appalachian Trail for hikers who were too lazy to carry their own gear but who still wanted to attain the glory and fame attached to those who complete a thru hike.

Mary has 14 children by 8 different fathers and is a full-time seamstress at a mattress production facility in Provo, Utah.
